Best Care, Right Place
Four years ago, North Shore Medical Center announced a $15 million fundraising campaign in support of two capital projects launched to transform the delivery of healthcare on the North Shore—the construction of the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care in Danvers and significant renovations to clinical areas at NSMC Salem Hospital. Today, we are poised for success with more than $13.8 million in hand and the possibility of a $1 million challenge grant to complete this effort.

For DeIulis Family, NSMC is a Healthy Investment

When Pasquale and Anna DeIulis left Carapelle, Italy for the North Shore in the early 1950s, they brought with them hopes of making a better life for their family. For years, their family has embraced that same commitment, improving life for NSMC patients through building projects across the NSMC campus completed by their DeIulis Brothers Construction Company and their longtime support of the NSMC Cancer WALK and NSMC Golf Tournament. Recently, the family helped support the renovation and expansion of the NSMC Salem Hospital Emergency Department with a gift to NSMC’s Best Care, Right Place campaign.
DeIulis Brothers Vice President Patrick DeIulis says the gift recognizes the spirit of generosity his grandparents, for whom a patient and family waiting area in the new ED is named, instilled in their family. He calls NSMC “a perfect fit” for his company’s and family’s philosophy of putting others before themselves.
“A healthy community is something that benefits us all,” says DeIulis. “Our support is an investment in our community.”
