Send Email to a Patient!

Send an email card to a family member or friend staying in one of our hospitals. It's free and it's easy! Just fill out the form below.

How it works:

Email messages will be printed and personally delivered to patients in their rooms by our Volunteer Office staff.
Please do not e-mail confidential, personal or financial information.
If a patient has been discharged or has requested privacy, the email will not be delivered and instead will be shredded and discarded. We will not be able to forward email to a patient's home address.

Please do not send an urgent message through this form. If you need to urgently contact a patient, please call 978-741-1200 (Salem Hospital) or 781-581-9200 (Union Hospital).

NSMC Care Mail Delivery schedule

Monday through Friday: Deliveries will be made between 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays. Messages received after 2:30 will be delivered the next day (or on the following Monday if received between 2:30 p.m. Friday and Sunday evening.)
