ADHD Parent Support Groups
Parents support and guide one another through the challenges of parenting children with behavioral, social and educational issues. Bipolar Disorder Parent Support Group
Parents share strategies, resources and support with other parents of a child or adolescent with Bipolar Disorder. Meets the first Wednesday of every month, 11:30 - 1 p.m., in the Family Resource Center at MassGeneral for Children at North Shore Medical Center.
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Group
A free support group for grandparents raising grandchildren. Group meets the first and third Monday of the month from 11 – 12 noon in the Family Resource Center at MassGeneral for Children at North Shore Medical Center. G.R.A.S.P. Grief Recovery after a substance passing, GRASP North Shore
This peer group is open to anyone who has lost a family member or loved one to fatal overdose. Meets the first Thursday of the month, 7 - 9 p.m., at 55 Highland Avenue, Highland Hall auditorium, ground floor. Call 781.593.5224 or email with questions.
Learn to Cope North Shore
This peer family support group is for adults living with a loved one with a drug addiction. Group meets every Thursday from 7 – 9 p.m. in Davenport conference room, 101A, NSMC Salem Hospital. There is no registration or fee. Contact Joanne Peterson at 508.801.3247 or visit their web site.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Training and practice in mindfulness, meditation, and mindful hatha yoga. Group meets Wednesdays for eight weeks, 6 - 8:30 p.m. Evening classes are for adults or for teens ages 14-17. Adults and teens meet in separate rooms at Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care. There is also a morning adult session that meets from 9:30 - 12 noon at NSMC Union Hospital. Adults pay a fee of $375 but teens attend free. Discounts and scholarships are available. Call 978.354.2670 to register.

Power Up
Girls ages 7-11 will learn how anxiety, anger and stress affect the brain and body. They will practice deep breathing, visualizations, basic yoga, and exercise to music, dance and games. Facilitated by Everlyn Resto at NSMC Salem Hospital. Call 978.741.1215 x8709 for information.
Sibling Support Program
Sibshop is a recreational peer support program for siblings (ages 8-12) with a brother or sister with any developmental, behavioral or medical health disorder. Meets bi-monthly at the Peabody Institute Library in Danvers. Call 978.354.2660 for more information.
