Consumer Reports teamed up with Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP) to survey Massachusetts residents about their primary care physicians.They surveyed close to 50,000 adults and 16,500+ parents about their experiences with their doctors. North Shore Physicians Group earned top scores for adult primary care practices at six locations. 

High scores of "4s" and a few "3s" were earned by the internal medicine physicians at the following locations:

900 Cummings Center in Beverly
Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care in Danvers
496 Lynnfield Street in Lynn
2 Essex Center Drive in Peabody
400 Highland Avenue in Salem 
331 Highland Avenue in Salem

Patients rated the following: how well their doctor communicated, how well the doctor coordinated their care with other specialists, how well their doctor knew them, and whether or not they got timely appointments and care. They were also surveyed about their interactions with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, receptionists and billing staff in the office.
