Now that the worst of Hurricane Sandy has passed through our community, we are grateful to report that all offices and facilities of North Shore Medial Center, North Shore Physicians Group and the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care are open and fully operational. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, North Shore Medical Center remains committed to the care and safety of our patients and community. Our status is as follows:
Now that the worst of Hurricane Sandy has passed through our community, we are grateful to report that all offices and facilities of North Shore Medial Center, North Shore Physicians Group and the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care are open and fully operational. In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, North Shore Medical Center remains committed to the care and safety of our patients and community. Our status is as follows: Our hospitals – NSMC Salem Hospital and NSMC Union Hospital -- remain open and fully operational, however many afternoon appointments and procedures are being rescheduled. Patients should check with individual practices and services prior to travel.
- The Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care will remain open, but certain procedures are being rescheduled and offices closed. Patients should check with individual practices and services prior to travel.
- All NSMC Wellness classes are cancelled.
- The NSMC Women’s Health Center in Danvers will close at 1 p.m. today.
- All North Shore Physicians Group offices will close at noon today, and appointments will be rescheduled. The Urgent Care office, located in the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care will close at 1 p.m. today.
