New Intensive Care Unit on Davenport 6

In late March of 2010 a new ICU will open on Davenport 6. The ICU’s state-of-the-art design includes private rooms and more space for families, advanced monitoring systems, life support equipment and patient lifts.


New private rooms on Phippen 6 and 7

In 2009, 32 private rooms for primarily orthopedic, neurosurgery and neurology patients were completed. The rooms feature private bathrooms with showers, individual temperature controls, wireless Internet and window seats that convert to a sleeping area for family members.  Read more



The Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care opened its doors to the public in 2009. The pristine, modern facility offers more sophisticated services than any other outpatient facility in the region. It serves as the home of the new Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center, a comprehensive cancer care center.  Read more
