Outpatient Information at NSMC Salem Hospital
If you are scheduled for an outpatient service such as a laboratory test, x-ray, or ultrasound, you will need to check into Ambulatory Registration on Davenport 4 before your appointment. Be sure to bring your social security number and insurance card(s) with you.
Mammograms are the only outpatient service that is not processed at Ambulatory Registration; they are administered on Macomber 7. We try to call all patients in advance of the appointment to pre-register them. If you have not been pre-registered when you arrive for your mammogram, you must complete the process on Macomber 7.
Outpatient Information at NSMC Union Hospital
If you are scheduled for an outpatient service at NSMC Union Hospital, you will go to the South Ground section of the hospital -- park in the South Entrance. View the

Exceptions:
--For EMG, EEG, Echo and stress tests, you will register at South 1 (781.477.3993)
--For day surgery, you will register at Surgi Registration, located on
East 2 (781.592.8200 x4166)
--If you are coming to the Infusion Center, go directly to West 1 where the center is located (781.591.8200 x4019)
