Salem, Mass. – North Shore Medical Center (NSMC) has named Jane Clarke, M.S.N., M.B.A., R.N., director of patient care services of NSMC Emergency Services. In this capacity, Clarke will manage the patient care team and coordinate between physicians and patients at both NSMC Salem Hospital and NSMC Union Hospital.
For the past four years, Clarke has been the director of patient care services for the NSMC Salem Hospital emergency services department, the intensive care unit and the respiratory therapy department. In addition, Clarke has also served as an administrator in the trauma program and aided in the development of the NSMC critical response team at NSMC Salem Hospital.
Clarke is a graduate of Salem State College, earning both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing as well as her M.B.A. She is also has a certificate in Ethics from Georgetown University and is a current member of the NSMC Ethics Advisory Committee. She has also been the recipient of the Broadhead Nursing Leadership Award, the highest nursing award given by NSMC. She is currently a resident of Salem.
