Salem, Mass. – David Slovut, M.D., Ph.D., an interventional cardiologist and vascular specialist, recently joined the medical staff of North Shore Medical Center (NSMC). He is in practice with North Shore Cardiovascular Associates, a 14-physician cardiology practice, at its 81 Highland Avenue office.
Dr. Slovut performs cardiac interventions and peripheral arterial interventions including renal and carotid stenting at the NSMC Heart Center. He is board certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology and vascular medicine and has a special interest in aortic stent grafts and peripheral arterial disease in addition to coronary interventions, such as angioplasty.
He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed fellowships in cardiology, interventional cardiology and peripheral vascular interventions at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
Dr. Slovut also is a member of the NSMC Vascular Center, and is a member of the faculty for the Annual Vascular Board Review Course for the American Board of Vascular Medicine.
