Annual Report 2008 - The major themes of this year’s annual report are collaboration, compassion, innovation and leadership. January 2008 - This issue features a cover story on NSMC’s new tobacco-free policy, an update on renovation projects taking place on both Salem and Union campuses and highlights from the recent Partners In Excellence award ceremony. nsmc Now! November 2007 - This issue features a cover story on NSMC’s new state-of-the-art computerized Medication Administration Check (MAK), as well as stories on NSMC’s goals and objectives for 2008 and online medical passport system. A special two-page section also introduces physicians who have recently joined the NSMC medical staff. nsmc Giving Fall 2007 - The groundbreaking ceremony for the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Surgery went off without a hitch. A gift in the amount of $1 million dollars was donated by the Morton and Lillian Waldfogel Charitable Foundation, to fund state-of-the-art Breast Imaging at the new Outpatient Center. The Healthy Life Fall 2007 - Diabetes is the lead story in this issue of the Healthy Life. NSMC's Diabetes Management Program is highlighted in the cover story about a Saugus resident who is managing his Type II diabetes through diet and exercise.
