NSMC North Shore Children's Hospital is a family-centered teaching facility and the region's primary resource for pediatric care. As a a community affiliate of
MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGH
fC) it represents a powerful collaboration between two of the most respected names in pediatric health care in Massachusetts.
Through this affiliation, we offer common standards and protocols, as well as a
network of subspecialists on staff at MGHfC. Our inpatient unit and dedicated pediatric emergency department are staffed by jointly appointed NSMC and MGH
fC staff. All care at NSMC North Shore Children's Hospital is managed by NSMC/MGH
fC staff, with daily teleconferences held between the two facilities to review complex cases with key specialists.
Many of the Mass General Hospital
for Children specialties currently offered at NSMC North Shore Children's Hospital will also be offered at the new Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care in Danvers.
