Welcome to the North Shore's most trusted pediatric hospital. After more than 105 years of serving families under the name of North Shore Children's Hospital, and after twelve years of clinical collaboration with MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC), we have changed our name to reflect our full integration with MGHfC

For the last twelve years both our inpatient unit and our pediatric emergency department have been staffed by jointly appointed NSMC and Mass General Hospital for Children (MGHfC) physicians. Now, every pediatrician inside NSMC will be credentialed through Massachusetts General Hospital as well.

MGHfC specialists provide care at outpatient practices of NSMC and at the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care . These specialisties include gastroenterology, cardiology,  endocrinology, orthopaedics, nephrology, neurology and pediatric surgery. We also have pediatric hospitalists on staff inside the hospital.

Through out long-standing collaboration we have developed standard treatment protocols to ensure that the quality of care our patients receive mirrors the care they would receive in Boston. NSMC is proud to be able to bring an even greater level of pediatric care to the North Shore community than before.
