All of our NSMC radiologists are board-certified and have a broad range of subspecialty expertise. They use the latest technologies and equipment, including:
--Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
--Digital mammography as well as computer-assisted mammography diagnosis
--Advanced CT scanning capable of some of the fastest available image acquisitions and three-dimensional displays, as well as CT angiography
--High resolution Sono CT Ultrasound with color-flow Doppler
--Digital diagnostic radiology – all X-rays are computerized and can be reviewed on monitors from multiple locations, facilitating patient care
--State-of-the-art vascular and interventional radiology
--Nuclear medicine sections providing the most current examinations
We provide imaging services at NSMC Salem Hospital, NSMC Union Hospital, NSMC North Shore Children’s Hospital, the NSMC Women’s Center in Danvers, Lynn Community Health Center and the North Shore Magnetic Imaging Center. Collectively, we perform more than 240,000 imaging procedures annually.
