Iroso Abu, M.D.- University of Illinois College of Medicine-Rockland, 2008
Iroso spent the first seventeen years of her life in Nigeria before immigrating to the United States. The poverty and lack of medical care in Nigeria sparked her initial interest in medicine. After completing her internship year Iroso plans on a career in anesthesiology.
Sreenivas Garla, M.D.- Boston University School of Medicine, 2008
Sreenivas’ enjoyment of biology and human physiology first sparked his interest in medical school. Through his clerkship experiences he found his greatest interest to be radiology, which is, were his career plans lie after completing his internship year.
Jing Wang, M.D.- State University at Buffalo School of Medicine, 2008
Jing is interested in impacting the quality of healthcare through administration as well as integrating research and applications of effective alternative medicine methods. After completing her internship year Jing plans on a career in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

Steven is interested in health policy. After completing his internship year Steven plans on career in radiology.

Natasha Awais, M.D. received her degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical College for Women in 2003. Natasha has been enrolled in our program for the last year as a preliminary resident. She has decided to continue her training in medicine and will be with us for the next three years to complete her training.
Chad DuBois, D.O.- University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, 2008
Chad started out with a career as a Wall Street commodities trader and self-employed consultant. Looking for a career that was rewarding Chad chose to change paths and go into a career in medicine.
Vishesh Kumar, M.D.- Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, India, 2003
Vishesh has spent the last year at Yale-New Haven Hospital as a research fellow as well as a clinical extern in the department of pulmonary/critical care. Vishesh’s long-term goal is to go on to advanced training in the area of pulmonary and critical care.

Salini spent a summer, during high school, volunteering in India where she worked directly with Mother Theresa assisting the terminally ill. Salini has interests in community outreach. Her long-term goal is “to sub specialize in the field of hematology/oncology."
Lesley Wood, D.O.- University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, 2008
Prior to medical school Lesley was a massage therapist and owned and operated her own business. Lesley is interested in primary care. She sees herself “practicing in a group practice that has a mix of different professionals working together.”
