The Hospitalist Program at NSMC enables us to provide specialized care for our hospitalized patients.

Hospitalists manage your care while you are in the hospital, monitoring your progress around-the-clock. They coordinate and consult with specialists, and stay in close touch with you, your family and your primary care physician.

Once you are discharged from the hospital your hospitalist will coordinate with your primary care physician to ensure that you have a smooth transition back to your daily lifestyle. Hospitalists do not maintain a practice outside of the hospital.

Our hospitalists are either board certified or board eligible in their specialties, which include Internal Medicine., Pulmonary and Critical Care and Family Medicine.
