In addition to these adult pulmonology services, NSMC North Shore Children’s Hospital in Salem provides a Pediatric Pulmonology Clinic staffed by a pediatric pulmonologist from MassGeneral Hospital for Children. Infants, children and adolescents are diagnosed and treated for pulmonary and respiratory disorders including asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic respiratory illnesses, tuberculosis (TB), congenital abnormalities of the lungs and respiratory tracts and sleep-related breathing disorders such as apnea.
