Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabiliation

We have a number physicians who specialize in Pulmonology and Critical Care for adult patients. They treat conditions such as sleep apnea, sleep disorders, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, asthma, cystic fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension.
Our Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is located on the NSMC Union Hospital campus and is designed for patients with asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or who are pre- or post-lung surgery. The program helps patients with manage their day to day activities more effectively. We begin with an initial evaluation by a team of Respiratory Care Practitioners and a Physical Therapist, from which we create customized physical conditioning plans and educational sessions.
