Secure online access to patients’ diagnostic test results are available in two different ways:

• Encompass enables any lab client to view & print clinical lab results specifically for their facility. If you are an authorized user you may enter Encompass now (click here.)
  
  
• Lifetime Clinical Record enables NSMC providers to view laboratory as well as other hospital department results (such as X-rays), for both inpatients and outpatients.

Being able to review lab results online will dramatically increase the efficacy of coordinated care between covering and referring physicians. (Read more about this and other technological innovations at NSMC.)


Custom Call Backs

Custom Callbacks is a software product that will allow each physician and long-term care facility to define the lab values that trigger an urgent notification to their facility or office. Custom Callbacks are results that are not as abnormal as critical values but have been identified by the ordering physician as results that require prompt clinical intervention.

Delivery is available via courier, on-site modem printer and fax.
