MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) is ranked among the top pediatric hospitals in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. For the last twelve years North Shore Medical Center has engaged in close clinical collaboration with MGHfC. We have developed standard treatment protocols to ensure that the quality of care our patients receive mirrors the care they would receive in Boston

Both our inpatient unit and our pediatric emergency department are staffed by jointly appointed NSMC and Mass General Hospital for Children (MGHfC) physicians, and now every pediatrician inside NSMC will be credentialed through Massachusetts General Hospital as well.

MGHfC specialists provide care at outpatient practices of NSMC and at the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care. These specialities include gastroenterology, cardiology,  endocrinology, orthopaedics, nephrology, neurology and pediatric surgery. We also have pediatric hospitalists on staff inside the hospital.
