NSMC’s Wound/Ostomy Treatment Center is an outpatient facility that specializes in the treatment of wounds that are slow to heal. Millions of Americans suffer from chronic wounds. The factors that contribute to slow-healing wounds include circulatory problems, diabetes, infection, local pressure, radiation, burns and underlying systemic diseases.

Successful healing of wounds requires close coordination between the NSMC Wound/Ostomy Treatment Center and your primary care physician. Our staff of highly trained professionals work together using the latest treatments and technology available. Our Nurse Practitioner and our Wound/Ostomy Nurses are all WOCN board certified. We also have on staff a Medical Director and a Wound Technician.
