Our Behavioral Health program is based at the NSMC Women’s Health Center in Danvers, in conjunction with the Outpatient psychiatric service at NSMC Salem Hospital.

We are staffed by psychologists and social workers who are expert in treating:

• Depression
• Eating disorders
• Stress-related illness
• Anxiety disorders
• PMS
• Post partum depression
• Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder
• Panic disorder

The Lafayette Street Psychiatry and Mental Health clinics in Salem provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and focused treatment interventions for adults. Group therapy services are offered for women experiencing panic disorders, mid-life issues, stress management difficulties and recovery from trauma of various kinds.

Both the Lafayette Street clinic and the Behavioral Health program at NSMC Salem Hospital offer psychiatric consultation, private therapy, group therapy, psycho-pharmacology evaluation and support groups.

We advise you to speak first with your primary care physician if you feel you need counseling. Primary care physicians can make a referral to a psychologist or psychiatrist if needed.
