NSMC's Breast Health program provides a continuum of coordinated care to support your breast health, from annual mammograms to a wide array of advanced treatments including breast surgery and cancer care.
We offer annual mammogram screenings at three NSMC locations: NSMC Salem Hospital, NSMC Union Hospital and NSMC Women's Center in Danvers. We also provide free screening services to low income women and many other risk assessments at those same locations.
Breast MRI services are provided in Danvers, Salem and at the Musculoskeletal Center at 4 Centennial Drive in Peabody.
For women who have previously received a diagnosis of breast cancer, or who require advanced diagnostic testing based on a recent mammogram, our Breast Health Center at the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care offers stereotactic or ultrasound-guided needle biopsy, digital mammography, breast MRI, breast ultrasound, and genetic screening and counseling.
