Bone Density testing assists in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. Our technologists perform X-rays scans to calculate the density of your bones.
This important, painless test can help determine if you are at risk for bone breakage due to bone loss - also known as osteoporosis. Your bone density test results will be reviewed and interpreted by one of the specialty physicians. If you do receive a diagnosis of osteoporosis, your doctor can arrange for treatment. This treatment may involve diet, exercise, or medication. We also offer smoking
cessation support to lower your risk of illness.
