The Brigham and Women’s Hospital Center for Reproductive Medicine at NSMC is based at NSMC Women's Center in Danvers and is a satellite facility of the Brigham and Women's Hospital's Center for Reproductive Medicine. The program is led by Dr. Mitchell Rein and Dr. Serene Srouji, who are on staff at both hospitals and who work as part of a large Reproductive team at the Brigham and Women's.

Egg retrieval and embryo transfer are performed at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The full spectrum of specialty techniques provided at Brigham and Women's includes:

intrauterine insemination (IUI)
in vitro fertilization (IVF)
gamete intrafallopian tube transfer (GIFT)
intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
assisted hatching
cryopreservation of embryos
pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)
IVF with donor eggs
IVF with a gestational carrier

Our program offers a true collaboration among doctors and hospitals, assuring you the highest quality, most convenient, personalized service.

At the NSMC Women's Center in Danvers, fertility patients receive initial fertility work up and diagnosis, ovulation induction, pregnancy testing, ultrasound, blood monitoring and physician follow up. NSMC's dedicated community of OB-GYN physicians also provide initial reproductive medicine services.

The NSMC Sperm Bank
is the only program on the North Shore to offer non-donor sperm banking to assist with fertility treatments for male patients who have planned chemotherapy threatments, travel frequently or have a history of reduced semen quality.

Many of our patients choose to deliver their babies at The Birthplace, on the NSMC Salem Hospital campus. Patients who are considered to have high-risk pregnancies may deliver at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
