Our Diabetes criteria:

Diabetes Mellitus—Diagnostic Criteria (non-pregnant adults)

  • Casual plasma glucose greater than or equal to 200 mg/dl and symptoms of diabetes
  • Fasting plasma glucose of greater than or equal to 126 mg/dl. This should be confirmed on more than one occasion
  • Results of a 2-hour, 75gm oral glucose tolerance test (OCTT) of greater than or equal to 200mg/dl
