for Children at North Shore Medical Center gratefully accepts books and other gifts for patient and visitor use.
We have a long-established Ready 2 Read literacy program that stocks shelves throughout the hospital with books for children. Volunteers read these books to children who are inpatients
at MassGeneral
for Children at North Shore Medical Center. The books are also available
to families who are waiting for appointments. Children are encouraged to take books home with them when they leave the hospital.
Ready 2 Read is always looking for new and gently used children's books.

Child Life Services department is often asked by families how they might contribute to the games and toys available for pediatric inpatients. We list below the types of donations we gratefully accept on behalf of our youngest patients. Please remember that all items must be new. Due to our infection control policies we discourage gifts of stuffed animals.
