Ready 2 Read, the literacy program at NSMC, is looking for new and gently used children's books.

Volunteers use these books when reading to children who are inpatients at NSMC North Shore Children's Hospital. The books are also available to families who are waiting for appointments.

The Ready 2 Read program stocks shelves throughout the hospital with books that children are encouraged to take home. The greatest need we have is for infant board books through preschool age, though all children's books are welcome.
