1. Potential candidates are required to fill out an application and interview with a member of the Volunteer staff.

2. All volunteers are required to receive a TB (tuberculin) test. They also must provide documentation of childhood immunizations (if available) or submit to blood work. Both TB test and blood work are provided by the hospital free of charge.

3. All volunteers complete CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and confidentiality forms, receive a hospital photo ID and are familiarized with hospital policies as part of the orientation process.
