L.E.A.R.N.

L.E.A.R.N. has been used for over 20 years as a safe and effective method for weight loss. The program was developed at Yale University by professionals in the areas of nutrition, exercise physiology and psychology, and is designed to help participants achieve permanent results.
Our L.E.A.R.N. program is led by Registered Dietitian Pat Moore, who has led this class for over 10 years.

  • 12 week group program
  • Offered 3 times a year
  • Tuesday evenings
  • 55 Highland Ave, Salem, Highland Hall lower auditorium
  • We also offer follow-up sessions for graduates of the program. See below.
  • LEARN is self-pay but may be eligible for reimbursement

Each class consists of a confidential weigh-in, a lesson on how to live a healthy life and group discussion. Participants learn how to read nutrition labels, control their portion sizes, and incorporate exercise into a daily routine.
