Genotyping

All patients at the Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center have their tumors tested using genotyping, an innovative process that identifies mutations within individual tumors. Once identified, many of these mutations can be targeted with “smart drugs” that attack the tumor’s unique weaknesses.
