Yoga for Chronic Pain, Fridays @ 3:30 p.m.
This 60 minute gentle yoga class is geared toward improving flexibility through a focus on strength, stretching and stress reduction for individuals with chronic pain syndrome. A chair can be used to assist in poses.

Yoga for chronic pain is a gentle yoga class using various props such as pillows, blankets, straps, and chairs that will aid the student with chronic pain into a safe and comfortable yoga practice. The program is designed to reduce muscular tension and tightness as well as enhance overall well-being. Each student will work within their own unique ability focusing on stretching, flexibility, strength for endurance and stress reduction. Proper breathing techniques and Guided meditations will be used in this yoga practice. The instructor is Dot McKeen who has Fibromyalgia and is a registered yoga instructor.
