Patients needing specialty consultations or care are referred to medical or surgical specialists at Salem Hospital, or in some cases, to Massachusetts General Hospital or Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Many of our family medicine physicians use state-of-the-art electronic medical records, which provide them with secure access to your complete, up-to-date medical information. This electronic system is also linked to the hospitals in the Mass General Brigham system. In the event you are hospitalized, your doctors and nurses can access your medical information immediately.
