Workshops are led by clinicians and are educational in nature. They are not therapy groups. You do not have to be a patient of NSMC to take part in any of our offerings. Note that everything listed below meets virtually via ZOOM.

Anxiety Workshop for Young Adults (ages 13 - 18)  January 13

A six-week educational workshop that helps young adults work on avoidance, stress tolerance and social skills. Facilitated by Michele Casoli-Reardon, MD. Meets Wednesdays from 3 - 4 p.m. in virtual sessions via ZOOM platform. Access code will be provided upon registration. The full set of dates are 1.13, 1.20, 1.27, 2.3, 2.10 and 2.17  Register

Raising Resilient and Healthy Teens  February 4

An eight-week educational workshop for parents/guardians of teens. Many families are feeling especially challenged during this difficult time and could benefit from some practical ideas, skills, and peer support. Classes are age specific. Stop the power struggles. Build mutual respect. Facilitated by Daniel Moore, M.A., Child Therapist, Doctoral Intern in Clinical Psychology. Meets virtually via ZOOM platform. Access code will be provided upon registration. Meets on Thursday's from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The full set of dates will be 2/4, 2/18, 3/4, 3/18, 4/1, 4/15, 4/29 and 5/13. Space is limited to 15

Many teens are feeling especially challenged during this very difficult time and could use some practical ideas, skills, and peer support. Facilitated by Antoine Salvador, Psy.D, Advanced Postdoctoral Fellow. Meets virtually via zoom platform. Access code will be provided upon registration.
