North Shore Physicians Group (NSPG) has announced the opening of North Shore Urgent Care.
Located at the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care in Danvers, North Shore Urgent Care is a full-service urgent care center that treats patients of all ages who need immediate, same-day care for non-life threatening illnesses or injuries including colds, flu, infections and muscle strains.
Lab tests, X-rays, stitches and more will be available in one fast and convenient location. Patients do not need to have an NSPG physician to use the center; North Shore Urgent Care welcomes all patients in the region by appointment or walk-in.
“North Shore Urgent Care will bridge the gap between emergency care and non-life threatening care,” says Steven Kapfhammer, President of NSPG. “What sets us apart from other urgent care centers is our exceptional focus on service and the ability to coordinate with specialists from NSPG, North Shore Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital and other world-class experts of Partners HealthCare.”
The new center will be staffed with board-certified emergency and family medicine physicians on staff at North Shore Medical Center. The staff also includes experienced physician assistants and nurse practitioners who adhere to the highest standards of quality and care.
North Shore Urgent Care hours are:
- Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
A preview open house will be held on October 2 from 3:30-6:30 p.m., offering tours of the urgent care center as well as light refreshments. North Shore Urgent Care is located in the Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care, 104 Endicott Street, Suite LL5 in Danvers.
