To encourage social distancing and minimize the spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19, North Shore Medical Center is consolidating our lab draw station services temporarily. Effective March 20, we will be suspending lab draw station services at the following locations:
  • North Shore Physicians Group 194R North Street, Danvers, MA
  • North Shore Physicians Group  331 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA
  • North Shore Physicians Group  400 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA
  • North Shore Physicians Group  1 Hutchinson Drive, Danvers, MA
  • North Shore Physicians Group  2 Essex Center Drive, Peabody, MA
  • North Shore Physicians Group  1 Widger Road, Marblehead, MA
  • 225 Boston Street, Lynn, MA is also closing
The following locations will remain open for lab draw station services:

NSMC Salem Hospital

  • 81 Highland Ave., Salem
  • Mon - Fri, 7 am – 5 p.m. (No weekend hours)

North Shore Physicians Group

  • 496 Lynnfield Street (Union Hospital), Lynn
  • Mon - Fri, 8 am – 5: 15 p.m.

North Shore Physicians Group

  • 104 Endicott Street, Mass General/North Shore Center for Outpatient Care, Danvers
  • Mon - Fri, 8 am – 4:15 p.m. (no Saturday hours)

North Shore Physicians Group

  • 414 Haverhill Street, Rowley
  • Mon - Fri, 8 am – 4:15 p.m. (for NSPG patients only)

North Shore Physicians Group

  • 1069 Broadway (Rt. 1 South), Saugus
  • Mon – Fri, 8 – 4:15 p.m.

North Shore Physicians Group OB/GYN

  • 383 Paradise Road, Swampscott
  • Mon – Fri, 8 am - 12:15 p.m.

We are instructing providers and patients to postpone any routine lab tests until further notice.

Exceptions to this are:

  • INR testing
  • Labs needed to monitor your medications

Patients should contact their providers via Patient Gateway to determine whether their lab work is considered necessary at this time.

We encourage the use of Patient Gateway for patient inquiries/questions. Patient who have traveled out of the country in the past 14 days, been in close contact with a person who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 or have a fever, cough, or sore throat, should call their primary care physician’s office.
