On June 24, 2012, thousands of walkers will gather at the Salem Willows for the 22nd North Shore Cancer WALK/RUN. This event annually raises $1 million dollars in the fight against cancer. >
Marblehead man lives to tell "medical miracle"
It was a hot, sticky August morning when Marblehead resident Scott MacAllister, 63, met up with longtime friend, Steve Flanagan to make their normal loop around Marblehead Neck. Running partners for more than 15 years, it didn’t take either of them long to notice something wasn't right.

Meet Jason Maxwell, Chairman of the 2012 North Shore Cancer WALK/RUN.
In his role as President of Mass Pay in Beverly, Maxwell has played an influential role in the WALK/RUN over the last few years. His Fed Up with Cancer event contributed to the great success of the WALK/RUN and we hope to build on this success for 2012.
