Giving Back through a Charitable Gift Annuity

Irene Willey had a gift for selfless gestures. Whether it was a supportive word for one of the dozens of nurses she supervised in her four decades at Salem Hospital, a handmade doll for a friend’s daughter or a home-cooked meal for a new neighbor, Willey’s gentle touch made others feel cared for. Planned Giving Options

Bequests

Estate gifts can be made through a will or a trust, and both vehicles enable assets to be distributed to NSMC.

Charitable Lead Trusts

Pass appreciated assets to your heirs without significant estate taxes by allowing NSMC to receive income from these assets for a specified time period.

Charitable Remainder Trusts

Name NSMC the beneficiary of a trust that will provide a set percentage of annual income for you during your lifetime.

Gift Annuities

Receive fixed annual payments from NSMC for gifts of cash, securities, real estate, or personal property.

Life Insurance

Name NSMC as a beneficiary of your whole life insurance policy.
