Giving Back through a Charitable Gift Annuity

As a collector of antique automobiles, Fred Jackson has a keen appreciation for high performance, comfort, and enduring value. He and his wife, Barbara, admire those same qualities in NSMC, where they've turned for their family's healthcare since moving to Marblehead in 1961.
To recognize the important role NSMC has played in their lives (Barbara jokes that she's a "frequent flyer" at NSMC Salem Hospital), the Jacksons recently made a donation to the Best Care, Right Place campaign in the form of a charitable gift annuity. In addition to providing NSMC with valuable support, the gift annuity guarantees the Jacksons a lifetime income stream and significant benefits.
"North Shore Medical Center has always been there for us when we've needed it," says Fred, the retired founder and owner of Orbit Plastics Corporation in Salisbury. "A charitable gift annuity seemed like a great way to give something back."
