In 2009, the NSMC Cancer Center merged with the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and moved to a new location in Danvers. It became the Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center.
The Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center provides patients with advanced diagnosis and state-of-the-art medical, radiation and surgical oncology services. Surgical procedures can confirm a cancer diagnosis, determine the extent of the cancer, and cure malignant and non-malignant tumors.
Our physicians and nursing care teams are nationally recognized for their expertise in all aspects of breast, prostate, lung, skin and digestive disease cancer care and apply the latest advances in the field to screening and prevention, diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment and rehabilitation.
