Wound Care
Wound/ostomy services at North Shore Medical Center are offered through an outpatient facility that specializes in the treatment of wounds that are slow to heal. Successful healing of wounds requires close coordination between the clinic and a patient’s primary care physician. Our staff of highly trained professionals uses the latest treatments and technology available.

Follow up care includes educational materials for patients, caregivers and family. Referrals to specialists are provided (as needed), as well as assistance with procuring orthotics, off-loading foot wear and compression stockings, and referrals for nutritional consultations, smoking cessation programs, diabetes education, and pain management
