Angioplasty
The NSMC Heart Center performs angioplasty, a life-saving procedure that is the fastest method of opening blocked arteries in patients suffering from a heart attack. They consistently perform this life-saving procedure within 90 minutes or less of when a patient first enters our emergency department--well above the national average.
