Pediatric Radiology

The pediatric radiology department is located within the main radiology department at North Shore Medical Center. There is a dedicated waiting area for children, which includes a play space. All of our pediatric radiologists are board certified, and have advanced training. They use state-of-the-art equipment to perform and interpret over thousand of pediatric examinations yearly. All studies are optimized to minimize radiation exposure to pediatric patients. Skilled technologists and nurses assist our pediatric radiologists.
